This ruined medieval fortress is located upon a rocky headland on the northeast coast of Scotland. The Dunnottar Castle is approximately three kilometers south of Stonehaven. It holds many secrets of Scotland’s glorious past.

Located in southwestern France, this commune is located in the former province of Quercy. It is well-known for its historical monuments. Rocamadour’s sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin Mary has attracted pilgrims from all walks of life for centuries.

This beautiful waterfall is located to the east of Kirkjubaejarklaustur, Southern Iceland. It tumbles down cliffs near an isolated farm. This waterfall is a unique, single narrow stream. It is light and is known to regularly flow uphill due to strong winds from the sea.

Fly Ranch is home to some really unique geysers in the world. It is approximately 20 miles north of Gerlach. Gerlach is around 100 miles north of Reno, Nevada. Green Fly Geyser is well-known for its vibrant colors, which are caused by thermophilic algae.

This isolated tiny wooden house is an epitome of mystery. It is oddly placed in the middle of the Drina River in Serbia. It has been standing on an exposed rock in the river, and appears to float on the river.

This fountain geyser is located towards the east of Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland. It is in the geothermal area beside the Hvita River. Strokkur is the Icelandic word for churn. It is a reliable geyser and spouts up to 66 feet.

Located in Lake Poway Park, California, Potato Chip Rock is a major tourist attraction in the region. It is at the peak of Mount Woodson in Poway. The hike is approximately 8 miles round trip. It is advisable to start early during the summer months.
